About the Oak Development Trust

Manager - Carol Renouf
I have been appointed Manager for this newly established trust. I am a Registered Nurse by profession having spent time in elderly care, medical nursing and rehabilitation. In recent years I gained a post graduate qualification in palliative care. I am married to Colin and enjoy being a mother to my four children and grandmother to two.
When I re-entered the work force after my family had grown up, I realised in the professional world there is no fulfillment found as great as being a mother. I desired to support parents in the crucial role they play in our society and trained as Toolbox Parenting group facilitator and became employed by Parents Inc to establish facilitators across Southland.
My heart has increasingly been to serve the community through supporting families, using my professional skills in nursing and promoting health.
I enjoy spending time with my family, will loose myself in a good book and love a good laugh!!
