September Updates
Here are some updates from the Oak Development Trust
Mainly Music
Mainly Music is now celebrating spring through the music and activities. Fathers Day was celebrated by every child's Dad receiving a gourmet pie (smokey pork and watercress) from the Hillmorton Bakery.
Nail Clinic
Our next Nail Care Clinic is being held on the 4th Oct at Riccarton Baptist Church. Clients are enjoying the care, massage and being pampered. Some say they have never been treated better.
Community Theatre
Our inaugural community family night went off with a bang and a shake! as "How to train your dragon" was screened. If you would like to know when our next family movie night is please contact us.
Appetite for Life
Appetite for Life is a 6 week weight management and healthy lifestyle programme that has been designed specifically for women who are fed up with the dieting process and just want to have a normal relationship with food.
Appetite for Life is not a diet. It promotes lifestyle changes that help you lose weight slowly, maintain weight loss and feel good about yourself throughout the process. It is led by trained facilitators.
This is starting September 20th at Riccarton Baptist Church 7-9pm. Cost $25. If you are interested please contact us. Funded by the Canterbury DHB and Christchurch PHOs.
